IMPORTANT - OWHA Suspends Season
Submitted By Director of Communications on Thursday, March 12, 2020
Attention: Mooretown Minor Lady Flags Members

Due to tonight's developments in regards to the COVID-19 Pandemic all Mooretown Lady Flags hockey activities have been immediately suspended for the 2019 / 2020 season. This under the direct guidance of the OWHA and Hockey Canada.

This is very disappointing news for all of us, but we do support the OWHA in this decision. We want to ensure the health and safety of our girls above all else.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all our Lady Flags on an extremely successful season! This is certainly not the way we saw it ending, we are very proud of all of all of you ladies!

Please note that at this time the "Try It" skates are canceled.

We are very disappointed in this news but fully support the OWHA and their decision in regards to this matter. The health and safety of our girls as always remains our main focus.

Thank you in advance for your understanding, we will continue to provide updates from OWHA as they become available.

Thank you,

Kevin Slater
Lady Flags President
